Avaliação do controle postural em mulheres com osteoartrose de joelho antes e após intervenção com exercícios: estudo de casos

Resumo


O objetivo desse estudo foi comparar o controle postural pré e pós-intervenção com exercícios em pacientes com osteoartrose (OA). Sete mulheres foram avaliadas pelo Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) e para o controle postural em plataformas de força (marca AMTI, modelo OR-6-2000). As pacientes foram randomizadas em um dos grupos de tratamentos (domiciliares ou em grupo) com duração de 6 semanas, 2 sessões de exercícios semanais de fortalecimento e flexibilidade. Para a comparação pré e pós, o grupo de tratamento não foi considerado. Não foi verificada melhora significativa com relação às variáveis de controle postural.
